The current healthcare system in the US is a sick-care model. Physicians are rewarded for sick visits and there is little focus on wellness and prevention. myMD�s purpose is to protect your most important asset, your health. Membership in myMD is an investment in that asset.

How can myMD provide these services?

Unlike the traditional primary care physician that cares for 2000-3000 patients, your myMD physician limits their practice to only 500 patients. This allows your physician to provide the highest levels of quality care and private medical services.

Is myMD only for the wealthy?

No, depending on whether you use your insurance or not, membership costs only $2-4 / day, in fact, with a high deductible insurance plan and tax deductible HSA (health savings account) or FSA (flexible spending account), membership is actually LESS expensive than traditional medical insurance.

Does myMD accept insurance?

Yes, we do accept health insurance. Patients that use their health insurance pay a reduced membership fee.

Do I need health insurance if I am a member of myMD?

No, however, health insurance is highly recommended to help cover the costs of any ancillary testing, visits to specialists, or hospitalizations if that becomes necessary.

Can children join myMD?

Yes, our physicians are board certified in Family Medicine and trained to care for the whole family from newborns to mature patients.
